Curriculum:
– Full Professor in Economic History at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (since 2001). Formerly Researcher at the University of Verona (1974-89) and Associate Professor at Ca’ Foscari (1989-2001), she was Visiting Professor at “École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales” of Paris (1999 and 2008). Currently she teaches Economic History, Business History (from Middle Age to Contemporary) and Industrial Revolution. Since 1992 she has been member of the Board of the PhD in Social and Economic History of the Bocconi University of Milan.  Since 2012 member of the Board of the Phd History of Arts UniVeneto.
– Vice-President of the Italian Association of Urban History (AISU) she is member of several historical associations (EBHA, RSA, SISE) and she is in the editorial board of the review «Studi storici Luigi Simeoni» and «Città e Storia». With Franco Amatori she is the scientific coordinator of the series “Storia economica e Storia dell’impresa” edited by Marsilio Editori.

Interessi di ricerca:
Research interests include on the Economic and Social history of Pre-Modern Europe, with a focus to Italy and the Venetian State. Currently she is engaged in a main individual research project on the economic role of dowries in the early modern Venice.
